Autumn

Yes, I know it is Jan 1st, and that it is winter here, but yesterday I awoke to loud honking of a flock of Canada geese flying overhead...........silly birds should have flown south some time ago, which sparked this response to the CPP prompt word #91 Autumn
This past Friday, Jaye of Artquiltmaker, posted the 100th prompt word since starting this project nearly 2 years ago. You can find the prompts words for 2010 here and 2009 here
Jaye is always happy to welcome new participants (doesn't have to be a drawing...........you can post anything that a particular prompt word brings to mind)
It really is a terrific exercise to keep the creative juices flowing!

Today feels more like Autumn than Winter....at least for the moment! (it could change in 5 seconds....)
We have a farm not far from us with a small pond, and I am constantly treated to the Canadian Geese flying over in formation.
And I pray every time they are REALLY LOW they don't feel the need to give me a gift.....
Love your goosey!!!

He's a great goose -- don't you love the sound of the bunch of them flying overhead? It's as if they announce they're coming.

Keep these doodles coming, please -- they inspire me!

Love the bird! I got a couple of Zentangles books and plan on looking at them with your responses in mind.

I love your blog! I've spent several lovely hours perusing while I drink my morning tea. I especially love your doodles and the way you've transferred them to fabric and colored them. Very inspirational! You should submit this technique to Quilting Arts and see if they'll publish it!
