Stitching Insects

I am still just playing with that little crazy quilt piece. I added a bit more fabric to the outer border to give me more stitching space. I am currently making up insects (all in greyscale) using black, greys and white threads
So far I have completed some ants and a couple of moths.
It is really like doodling with needle and thread in place of a pencil.

Very nice Jill; this is shaping up beautifully. The moths in particular catch my eye. (probably because I fight ants most of the year!)
Bravo!

You have an amazing grasp of these insects -- I'm not usually a bug person, and these are really appealing. You do incredible work, Jill -- such detail!

Very smart of you to add more fabric to give you more space to do your fabulous embroidery. Love this quilt. Happy stitching...
