Delivered

In late November, I began a new project, a quilt that holds very special meaning for the recipient. It was finished and delivered last weekend.

Made mostly with materials gleaned from a loved ones P.J.s and T shirts.....lots of personal details have been stitched throughout.....at 72" square, it is just the right size for her to wrap herself in the memories they shared.

It's a beautiful quilt and I am sure it will bring lots of comfort in those unsettling moments.

What a fabulous and unique way to use T-shirts and memorabilia in a quilt -- I like this idea so much more than simply using squares. Lovely result!

Only you could take PJ's and T-shirts and turn it into a beautiful quilts that doesn't look like it has PJs and T-shirts in it!!! Fabulous!!!

I think this has to my favorite of all memory quilts done with someone's clothing.

May I share it on my blog and on Facebook? (giving you credit of course)
