Showing off

My designs, that is.
A friend embroidered them for me. If you are a regular visitor, you know that 6 of my doodles  have been digitized into embroidery designs and are currently built into 2 Janome sewing machines. I blogged about that excitement several times already....you can find those posts here.

Each design was stitched in gleaming white thread on black cotton, I pieced them into a simple wall hanging so that I can now proudly display them

I had great fun quilting the background.

It looks fabulous and the quilting is absolutely wonderful!

I stitched out the pin cushion, spool, and scissors one day while working at the local Janome dealership and I have yet to put them into anything. Time to get stitchy!

Wow, that's beautiful! I love the doodles and your quilting is just spectacular. Is that all quilted on a domestic machine or do you have a mid/long arm?

Thanks Mary-Kay. The quilting is done on my DSM. I LOVE my Janome 6600p ...it is wonderful for free motion quilting.

My goodness -- how gorgeous is that?! Janome will probably want to "borrow" this to help promote the machines -- it's perfect! BTW, did they present you with a machine as a gift? I think that would be a wonderful idea, don't you??

Are these designs available for use on other machines? They are just GORGEOUS. Yes, I am screaming too, but not in the market for another machine ;-D

I just posted about a project I did this spring for Janome America, which features a sewing machine design that is built in to the 15000. Jean S., one of my blog readers, kindly told me YOU created it--LOVE IT. I'm wondering if you also designed the heart? Please check it out at sarahannsmith.com/weblog (posted today, April 3). I will add that you did them to my description--just let me know if you did both or just the sewing machine. Great designs! And I totally hear you about being busy and not blogging!
