Seaonal Doodle

I have not been doing much in the way of doodling lately....not real sure why.......but I had an idea that I wanted to try so I decided to do this seasonal doodle to play around with
I scanned the image and placed several onto a page, then printed it onto a sheet of TAP

See those pencils? Oooooooooooooo those are the Inktense pencils that I have been wanting to try.
Some people like to roam the malls.....not me, but I DO so love to browse through aisles and aisles of art supplies. Got these at one of my favouite shops Mercury Art Supply

So in an earlier post, I told you that I was disapointed to find that I could not use pencils on the Tap........the pencil just scraped off the coating........well I think I have found away around that. Check back next week if you'd like to see what I am up to.

I need to start doodling again!

I do so envy your ability to doodle well. Anyway, I have tried the inktense pencils and felt they were no more intense than other water soluble pencils. What do you think?

Oh I have to disagree with Quilt or Dye, my experience of Inktense pencils has been very successful, vibrant and everying you would expect of a play on words like 'intense'! Can't wait to see your results, might be best to work with them damp or with a damp paintbrush so they don't rub off the TAP coating.

You are going to love Intense pencils..they are the best! Vivid color when you want it and easy to blend with water for a watercolor effect (even on fabric!). Can't wait to see how you end up using TAP again!

I always smile when I see in my update box that you've posted a new doodle -- and this one is just perfect for the holidays. And now you'll have me buying yet another art supply, I just know it! Can't wait to see the results here -- don't keep us waiting too long, okay???
