Failure or Creative Opportunity?

Sometimes a sun-print just doesn't take very well. In this case, the day went from brilliant sun and clear blue sky to completely cloudy, very quickly.  I had been using some small metal charms to see just how intricate a print I could get, when of course, there was a sudden change in weather. The fabric was almost dry and I did get a "decent" image but not as clear as I am sure it could have been had the clouds not rolled in. But....wait....maybe I could "enhance" them.

These photos show the images left by the sun

and this is how they looked with a bit of help from my Sharpie marker

What a great idea. I wonder what it would look like with a bit of thread added.

This shows what a true artist you are - the ability to create something out of , well I won't say nothing because they weren't that bad but you made them fabulous!

I usually do a couple of sun prints every summer and haven't this year - shame on me! Thank you for reminding me - I will get on it today!

The fabric colors are perfect for the images. I think the sun prints look wonderful...and then you enhanced them with your doodling and now they look fabulously wonderful. So cool! Creative Happy Hearts Dear...
